Schedule: 45-50 hours per week, Mon-Fri, occasional Saturdays

Work Location: Multiple locations - Southwest OH & Northern Kentucky

Job Summary:

General laborer duties associated with Asphalt paving and patching; Commercial, Industrial and Residential experience. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Rake, lute, shovel, tamp, wheelbarrow and compact asphalt.
• Perform manual labor tasks such as digging trenches, moving materials, and assisting with project completion.
• Assist with paving and grading operations.
• May be called upon to run small power tools.
• Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment and movement of materials.
• Assist in the placement, moving and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones and other traffic control devices.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
• Dependable with reliable transportation.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• CDL A license is a plus, but not required.

Safety

• Promote, execute, and adhere to the companys safety program.
• Attend daily safety meetings and inspections.
• Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or endanger the wellbeing of others.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in the Asphalt industry

Working Conditions

• Overtime as required.
• Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
• Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 lbs. regularly.
• Use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is required.
• Use of sunscreen, long sleeves, and appropriate headgear is recommended.
• Must comply with the companys drug and alcohol testing requirements.

• Participate as a vital team member and contribute toward the success of the organization, which may involve the provision of other technical and administrative support, as required.
• Promote a team approach and maintain a dialogue with all employees to exchange information and gather ideas.
• Collaborate with any project teams on other special initiatives, as required.
