Cooking School Director
Part-Time or Full-Time
As the Cooking School Director at Jungle Jim's, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of Ohio's longest-running cooking school. Teaching responsibilities and administrative time combine in this position. Don't miss this unique opportunity for a creative culinary professional!
Job Duties
• Development and teaching of cooking classes
• Scheduling and staff supervision
• Development of menus, food purchase specifications and recipes
• Development and monitoring of food and labor budgets and costs
• Maintain highest professional food quality and sanitation standards
• Establish and maintain a regular cleaning and maintenance schedule for the classroom
• Interview, select, train, supervise and counsel all employees in the department
• Interact with students to assure classes and experience exceed expectations
• Other duties as directed
Requirements
• Experience in teaching and/or management in a cooking school environment
• Superior understanding of cooking techniques and food products
• Employee supervision and customer service background
• Experience with computers: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), email and the internet
